Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

• Account information: Email address, name, phone number
• Event data: Titles, descriptions, options, participant lists
• Messages: Communications between you and Scheddie (via email and SMS/text)
• Preferences: Your availability, activity preferences, and voting responses
• Phone numbers: Mobile phone numbers provided by event coordinators for SMS messaging

SMS/Text Messaging

Login Verification: When you sign in with a phone number, Schedify sends a 6-digit verification code via SMS to confirm your identity. A new code is sent each time you sign in. This is a transactional message required for account security and does not require separate opt-in.

Schedify also uses SMS/text messaging to facilitate event coordination. By opting in to receive event-related SMS messages from Schedify:

• We collect mobile phone numbers provided by you or by event coordinators to send event-related messages.
• You consent to receive SMS/text messages related to event discovery, voting, and notifications.
• Message frequency varies; up to 12 messages per event.
• Message and data rates may apply.

We will never sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

To opt out of SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at support@schedify.ai.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Schedify service
• To send event-related messages via email and SMS through our AI assistant Scheddie
• To aggregate voting results (individual votes are never shared)
• To communicate important service updates
• To facilitate event discovery conversations and preference gathering

AI and Message Processing

Scheddie uses AI (Claude by Anthropic) to generate personalized messages and understand responses. Messages are processed to provide the service but are not used to train AI models. We maintain appropriate data processing agreements with our AI providers.

Data Retention

We retain your information as follows:

• Account data: Retained while your account is active and for up to 12 months after deletion request.
• Event data and messages: Retained for up to 24 months after an event is completed or cancelled.
• SMS/text messages: Message content and phone numbers are retained for the duration of the event and up to 12 months afterward for service improvement and support purposes.
• Opt-out records: We retain records of opt-out requests indefinitely to ensure we honor your preferences.

Your Privacy Choices

• SMS opt-out: Reply STOP to any SMS message to stop receiving texts. You will receive a confirmation message.
• Email opt-out: Participants can opt out of email messages at any time using the opt-out link in any email.
• Data deletion: Request deletion of your data by contacting us at privacy@schedify.ai.
• Individual votes: Your specific votes are never shared with other participants.
